We are a Maxxis "SPEC" Series. However, there are a few details that are important to consider.
The Four Midwest Champ Kart Series races are ANY Maxxis Tire. You can run any slick EL, ST3, HT3 (Baby Blues Champs is only HT3 Blues).
October 3-4. The King of the Champs is the exception to this rule as the 3 KOTC classes Adult Champ, Junior Champ, Baby Blues are HT3 ONLY!!!
KOTC support classes can run any Maxxis Tire same as the series. *Further exception is Predator classes (predator champ and predator flat) are open slick (AJC, Cobra, Hoosier, Maxxis, Reaper, Vega, etc.) meaning any tire can be ran in those two classes. RWYB is any slick any tread.

​Senior Champ
Chassis Specifications:
This class runs the Senior Champ chassis ONLY. No other champ chassis are allowed. Wheelbase and cage dimensions are enforced.

Briggs LO206 Sealed (Orange Seals) Briggs Current Rule Set.
All Engine rules are subject to change and are currently based off the NKA 2025 Rulebook AKRA rulebook is sold online.

Junior Champ
Chassis Specifications:
This class runs the Sportsman Champ chassis. May run a Senior Champ chassis but "Baby Blues" Champs are NOT allowed.

If a driver turns 15 years of age before the FIRST SCHEDULED MCKS RACE he/she must run with the adults. If you are found violating age limit rule you will immediately be DQ with no exceptions.

"Baby Blues" Champ
Chassis Specifications:
Smaller "Baby Blues" are the chassis of choice. We will allow the Junior Champ chassis in 2025. 2028 we will be when we reevaluate the exception. See BABY BLUES CHAMP RULES for full details.

Any shoe style drum clutch

Drivetrain:
11 tooth 62-66, no exceptions! 4100 RPM rule applies on stand +-200

Tires:
Only can run the Maxxis HT3 Blue 6.50 Right Sides (wheel size 8.25" to 8.75") and Maxxis HT3 Blue 4.50 Left Side tires (wheel size 6.0" to 6.5").

If a driver turns 8 years of age before the FIRST SCHEDULED MCKS RACE he/she must run with the Junior Champs. Chassis rules do change as you move up in the junior class so plan accordingly. If you are found violating age limit rule you will immediately be DQ with no exceptions.
