Friday Practice Running Order-

KOTC Junior Champ

KOTC Senior Champ

Rookie

Junior 1

Junior 2

Clone Heavy

We will start the night off with a fairly quick practice session for all classes.

It will be a longer second practice session.

****KOTC Classes Event Layout starts:

The KOTC classes will conduct their only Qualifying sessions of the weekend after the 2nd Practice session.

****Crowing of the Queen will happen before qualifying.

This will lead us into Friday’s King's Privilege A-Main which is your top 16 qualifiers. The top 2 finishers of the King's Privilege will be automatically lock into Saturday KOTC Race but WILL DRAW for their starting positions. 1 through 20. They may elect to deny their first and only draw if they want and run heat races. That is a risk but if they think their draw is too far back in the field, they have that right. If they elect to go heat race racing 3rd will draw for a starting spot and so forth.

Just for the KOTC Classes we have this unique Heat format.

The goal of this race format is to keep everyone muddled by the unknown and to just race hard, smart, and know that every race counts. It takes qualifying, heat races, and last chance qualifiers as a high importance.

*4 sets of Heats will determine the starting lineup for the KOTC Big Dance on Saturday. This is done by a points system which is your finishing position plus your qualifying position. Ties will be broken by positions gained in MRP. This is an accumulated points system. Every race counts.

• 1st set of heats, the top qualifier (that isn’t automatically transferred to the Big Dance by the King’s Privilege race) will be pole of the 1A heat, 2nd will be pole of the 1B Heat, etc.

• 2nd set of heats, we will have an invert of the recalculated points standings after 1st set of heats. Example: If you’re 1st in points you will start last of the last heat. The lowest or final points contender will be on the pole of the 2A heat.

*Friday racing is over for KOTC racers

*Saturday

Saturday Race Format and Practice:

KOTC Race of Cham

RWYB

Predator Flat

Clone Super Heavy

KOTC Junior Champ

KOTC Senior Champ

*2 practice sessions by class type. All adult clone flats will practice at the same time regardless of weight class (you have 3 practice sessions to choose from or do all 3 that is up to you)

*Start Heat Race Racing

• 3rd set of heats, the top points leader will be pole of the 3A heat, 2nd will be pole of the 3B Heat, etc.

• 4th set of heats, we will have an invert of the recalculated points standings after 3rd set of heats. Example: If you’re 1st in points you will start last of the last heat. The lowest or final points contender will be on the pole of the 4A heat.

*This will lock in the Top 10 in points as they will join the 2 racers from Friday’s King’s Privilege. Line up for the Big Dance will be by your points standings. Note: The racers that ran heats are shifted straight back “if” the King’s Privilege racer drew your points standings position during their redraw on Friday.

At this point we will have set the top 12 in our Big Dance.

Last chance races are a Minimum of 10 and up to a maximum of 16 drivers per last chance race. Top 4 finishers move up in the alphabet soup to the next last chance race. Top 8 finishers of the B main move into the KOTC. The KOTC Queen will determine if there will be a redraw conducted to those 8 positions. This gives a racer a chance to survive and fight his way back into the Big Dance. BCDE.... for the KOTC classes.

This will set the 20 in our Big Dance.
